We Stand with the SHARE PCAs and Unit Secretaries
As nurses, doctors and other hospital staff, we support our PCA and Unit Secretary co-workers' efforts to improve their workload, their pay and the respect they get on the job. We recognize the critical role PCAs play in providing quality patient care.
Workload: Working without enough PCAs puts a real strain on the whole team, and makes it difficult to deliver the best patient care.
Retaining Talented PCAs and Unit Secretaries: We are deeply concerned about losing great staff because the pay is too low, which then makes us more short-staffed.
We believe that supporting and uplifting our PCAs and Unit Secretaries can enhance the overall quality of patient care and contribute to a healthier work environment for all of us.
