SHARE Picnic for a Strong Contract, Take Two

There’s a lot going on for our SHARE unions at the Medical School and at UMass Memorial right now. And, as you know, the strength of our union comes from members being informed and engaged. So, let’s get together and have some fun!
Who? SHARE members in work-from-home departments (even if you personally work on-site as an interpreter, or a biller, or a scheduler, etc.)
When? Saturday, October 22, 10am-noon
Where? Elm Park, 138 Russell St, Worcester
What else? SHARE will provide sandwiches and light snacks. Pot-luck sides and desserts are welcome (and totally optional!) We’ll also have buttons and copies of our new signature poster, plus updates about contract negotiations. We know that some of you have never met the others in your department in real-life, so we’ll make sure everyone finds each other.
What if SHARE and the employer have already settled the contract by then? If that’s true, then great! Let’s celebrate! SHARE Organizers can answer any questions you have about the details of the tentative agreement before you vote.
Dress code? Kidding! Kind of. Let’s all wear red to show we support good raises and a strong contract.
