2026-27 SHARE Elected Executive Board & Representatives

Congratulations to all of SHARE’s newly elected leaders!

Participating makes our union strong. We’re excited for the commitment of this year’s elected leaders, and grateful for the many members who nominated and voted. Thank you!

SHARE’s Executive Board (or EBoard) makes steering decisions on behalf of our union and will serve as the core of the SHARE Negotiating Team for our upcoming contract negotiations with the hospital. SHARE Representatives perform many duties for our union, but none more important than helping keep us all linked together. If you haven’t yet met a SHARE Rep who works near you, we encourage you to reach out to them with your thoughts and questions, or just to introduce yourself. Knowing one another is what makes our union strong

MNA Strike Authorization Vote

As we are putting together this newsletter, the Massachusetts Nurses Association is planning to hold a strike authorization vote. A strike authorization vote does not mean that a strike will automatically take place. The vote could, however, give their union’s leadership the authority to call a strike at a later date if necessary. A strike authorization vote can demonstrate members' solidarity and support for the bargaining team. A strike is generally considered a last resort because a work stoppage affects caregivers, patients, and our hospital as a whole. Some SHARE members have been asking what an MNA strike would mean for them. Click the button below for some answers to those questions.
